General Scope of Construction Project:
Excavation of approximately 320,000 cubic yards of saturated clay materials from a former dredge spoil area. Construction of a wetland mitigation area approximately 70-acres in size that included roads, ponds, tributaries and channels. Placement of stone and rock erosion control features along channel banks. Construction of water flow control structures including sheet-piling, timber, stone, and drainage culverts and installation of approximately 280,000 marsh plants and vegetation within approximately 60 acres of the wetland mitigation area.
