General Scope of Construction Project:
Reconstruction of sand dunes along approximately five (5) miles of shoreline due to Hurricane Rita damage; Repair, re-inflate, or replace damaged geotextile tubes; Excavation, hauling and placement of approximately 50,000 cubic yards of beach quality sand over exposed and damaged geotextile dune core systems; and coordination of all beach construction activities with Endangered Species monitors provided by U.S. Fish & Wildlife (Kemp Ridley Turtle Monitors).
